About the government fee. The Registrar-General charges a statutory fee for every registration, currently from GHS 120 for a sole proprietorship and GHS 510 for a company limited by shares. We pay it to the Registrar-General on your behalf and it appears as its own line on your bill. Companies limited by shares and unlimited companies also pay stamp duty of 1% of stated capital, which is why their total is shown as "from".
Refunds. Yes, as long as we have not yet filed with the Registrar. We refund what you paid, less any government fee already paid to the Registrar on your behalf. Once an application is filed, the government fee cannot be recovered.
